May 15-17, 2025. Location: Harrison, AR.
Folks,
Here is the preliminary announcement for Red Ball 2025. More details to follow but this should get you started.
**PLEASE- send an email to both: jeromec5460@gmail.com AND 00mjones@sbcglobal.net with RED BALL Convoy in the subject line if you plan on attending. We need a headcount and what vehicle you’re planning on bringing. It’s important we get this information as soon as you can provide it.
The agenda below (and also attached here as a pdf document) will provide you with most of the information you will need to make your plans.
We also want to thank Matt Bell and Richard Sciarra with the Harrison Convention and Visitors Bureau (Explore Harrison) in advance. They have been a great resource to the ARMVPA for this year’s Red Ball.
Further information and updates will follow as this progresses.

❖ Friday May 16th:
The expected departure will be approximately 0900. This will give participants time to grab a coffee or light breakfast before departing. Harrison local police will block off the road so we can have a smooth departure. We will stop in Jasper for lunch at the Ozark Cafe. There will be an area near the cafe blocked off for parking. We should have time for lunch and for participants to check out the local shops on the square.
❖ Saturday May 17th:
This is our static display day starting at 9am and ending at 3pm located at the Camp JackVeterans Community Center. Explore Harrison will be holding a cookout for us during ourdisplay with hamburgers and hot dogs.
❖ About the Route:
About 60 miles, 378 scenic curves.
The “Jasper Disaster” has its name for a good reason. Mile for mile, this is the curviest riding route in the North Arkansas area. The route encompasses the most scenic section of Hwy. 7, follows Hwy. 74 over the mountains and joins Hwy. 43 in Boxley Valley. However, the beauty of this loop is incredible with wonderful overlooks, massive drops in elevation and many opportunities to see wildlife. We’ll have a number of pitstops along the way to stretch your legs and take in the scenery.
❖ Optional After-Convoy Dinner Rendezvous:
We expect to have a designated location to meet for dinner after the convoy concludes. Details to be announced.
